On Three Problems Concerning Philosophy of Language

It is urgent that, within the context of the Chinese language, to make clear what object analytical philosophy and philosophy of language in the West refer to. As a matter of fact, the two terms have the same reference, while the term of 損hilosophy of language?appeared only in 1973. There are still, however, some puzzles to be uncoiled. Philosophy of language is, in a sense, first philosophy, namely, what I called 搈other philosophy? so it is not appropriate to envisage philosophy of language as a branch of analytical philosophy.
