Abstract
According to the irrigation system, the condition of water supply and demand,as well as the crop types in the irrigation area of Manas River in Xinjiang,a model of the crop structure and water resources optimization allocation is developed to solve the water resources shortage in the irrigation area.Based on the model,we have solved the problem of limited irrigation water resources optimization allocation among the sub-irrigation areas and the various crops, and have obtained the allocation scheme of water resources and the corresponding crop structure in the whole irrigation area using the data of different level years. The results show that the model and the algorithm presented are practical.
