The Distribution and Hantavirus Infection Situation of Rodent in Yanshan Mountain of Beijing

Abstract
Objective To learn the distribution and Hantavirus infection situation of rodents in the mountainous area of Beijing.Methods Different environments of Yanshan Mountain in the northeast of Beijing were selected as survey sites.Rodents were clamped at night and its density was calculated.Hantavirus antigen and antibody of the rodents sample was examined by IFA method.Results There were 9 kinds of rodents at Yanshan Mountain,including Rattus confucianus,Apodemus peninsulae,Apodemus agrarius,Mus musculus,Clethrionomys rufocanus,Rattus norvegicus,and Cricetulus triton,Soriculus hypsibius,Crocidura gmelini.The rodent density ranged from(3.13%) to(7.33%),and average density was(5.83%). Average rate of rodent infected with Hantavirus was(2.83%),and the positive rate of antibody was(3.77%).HV antigen and/or antibody were only found in Rattus confucianus and Apodemus agrarius.Conclusion There was Hantavirus infection at Yanshan Mountain in the northeast of Beijing.
