The Pictographs and Their Symbolic Meaning in Chinese

In conception,the category of every Chinese character structure in the book Liu-shu is definite,but it is not clear to judge one Chinese character belongs to which structure.So many scholars incline to San-shu Shuo,and classify pictographic words and self-explanatory words in the same category,but it is only avoiding problems.In fact,there are obvious differences in them,which consist in pictographic words with self-explanatory character and self-explanatory words.
