Abstract
This study was intended to obtain information about the effects of simulated acid rain on grape leaves. The leaves treated with simulatd acid rain of pH 3.5 , 2.5 and 2.0 showed visible injury spots to various extent and reduction in chlorophyll content and net photosynthetic rate.Treatment with simulated acid rain caused decrease in SOD activity and index of unsaturated fatty acids, and increase in MDA content, cell membrane permeability and the rate of ethylene production.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
