Abstract
Five kinds of phosphates were used, monocalcium phosphate, dicalcium phosphate, tricalcium phosphate, mixture of monocalcium phosphate and dicalcium phosphate, bone meal. The 288 carp in the same size were allotted into 6 groups. All those phosphates were added to the basal diet to supply 0.3% of NPP﹒ Each of the test diets was fed to 4 pens of 12 carps each, and one group were fed the basal diet without adding phosphate. All the tested diets had the same composition as that of the basic diet except phosphate. The carp was fed with the diets for 20 days, then the AD of phosphates were determined. The results showed that the AD of different phosphate were significantly different and the monocalcium phosphate is the effective and economical phosphorus source.
