Narrative Intelligence,Plot Arrangement and Identity——On Paul Ricoeur's Narrative Dynamics

Distinct from Classical Narratology's interest in logic and symbolic analysis,ignoring the different dynamic,Paul Ricoeur chooses to return to Aristotle: Firstly,narrative is defined as the human's practical activity,an expression of practical wisdom called narrative intelligence;the plot arrangement is the reification of understanding,weaving the mixed events and details into a comprehensible story,which runs through writing and reading,constituting the core power of activities;in the reading part,the transferring and understanding become possible in readers' employment,and the reader can update experiences,reshape identity and the world of value in virtue of obtaining the narrative identity, so the interaction occurs between the and living world,with entering into the field of ethics.
