Ecological Criticism,Ecological City,and Ecological Civilization:Reflections upon Current Human Ecological Construction

In the modern society characterized by more and more serious ecological crisis,ecological criticism,by analyzing the writers' various dispositions and imaginations of the relationship between human being and nature in the literary texts,attempts to supply a valid critical paradigm which really helps us gain a sound knowledge of the relation of the natural ecology to human ecology.Under the guidance of ecological criticism,we should make deep reflections upon what we have done,actively and positively construct our human ecology,gradually set up our healthy life-style,correct ecological ideas and harmonious ecological consciousness,and finally establish our natural and spiritual homeland for poetical human dwelling.Meanwhile,the construction of ecological city is meant to harmonize the social,economical,and natural development,with high-efficiency use of the material,energy,and information.In the urban area,we are supposed to achieve the harmony and unity between natural and human ecology,accelerate the transition of human ecology to ecological civilization.This is what is meant by our construction of the socialist harmonious society,and also it serves as the gateway to our return to the fine spiritual homestead.
