Abstract

In the course of vacuum gauge calibration, we found that the contamination coming from the spacecraft and space environment simulator is still existed seriously even the oil-free cryopump system is used. The contamination compromises the reliability of the spacecraft. This paper analyses the source of contamination and its influence on the spacecraft. The necessity of constituting the standard of contamination control and developing the associated test facility are discussed.
