The Comparative Study between Traditional Method and Communicative Approach in College English Teaching

The communicative teaching has developed into a world-scale foreign language teaching theory and teaching method,and become China's foreign language teaching principle generally recognized and accepted today.Through further comparative analysis on traditional teaching methods and teaching methods of communication,this paper expounds the mode to use communicative teaching to teach college English and its application in the teaching of college English listening,pointing out that teachers should make full use of the basic principle of the communicative teaching to better improve the standard of English teaching.
