New Vision and Methods in Chinese Modern Classical-Form Poetry Study

There are several tendencies and biases in Chinese modern classical-form poetry study,such as lacking macroscopic vision,relying too much on traditional literature critic methods and disregarding of the reality of Chinese modern classical-form poetry writing and study.The current situation desiderates an urgent reflection and a new direction.Modern classical-form poetry study needs to put the subject into the background of the whole Chinese poetry history and that of the whole Chinese modern literature as well as to come up with a macroscopic vision which bridges and integrates ancient time and today.The study also needs updated methods and,meanwhile,conformity of all different research groups.
