Abstract
The uncertainty of Vickers hardness is from testing force,repeatability of indentation diagonal line,standard block inhomogeneity and hardness tester.The mathematical model of Vickers hardness and testing force,indentation depth is established.Vickers hardness is proportional to testing force,in inverse proportion to square of indentation depth.According to GB/T 4340.1—1999,to analyze from following influence factors such as testing force,indentation and standard block,when coverage factor Kp is 2,confidence interval is 95%,the uncertainty of Vickers hardness measurement is 2.5%.
