Abstract
The sedimentary facies and characteristics of the third member of Funing Formation in Huazhuang Oilfield in Gaoyou Sag are studied through comprehensive analyses of rock types, grain size,sedimentary structural features and logging facies.The study shows that delta sedimentary systems are developed in the third member of Funing Formation in Huazhuang oilfield in Gaoyou Sag,two main subfacies of delta front and predelta are developed with the absence of delta plain subfacies.The delta front subfacies can be further divided into sedimentary microfacies of underwater distributary channel, mouth bar, distal bar,frontal sand sheet and underwater distributary interchannel.The sedimentary mode is established on the basis of considering the depositional setting and the sedimentary characteristics.It provides important geological reference for finding remaining oil
