Abstract
Based on the survey of Aug, 2002 in the estuary of Xiaoqinghe Estuary and adjacent waters, the distribution characteristics of dissolved oxygen were analyzed. The results showed that there is a hypoxia zone in the estuary of Xiaoqinghe Estuary. The analytical results of relationship between dissolved oxygen and the environmental factors(CODdissolved nutrients) showed that the organic matters from Xiaoqinghe Estuary may be the main reason induced anoxia in the estuary of Xiaoqinghe Estuary.
