Application of the Firewall Technology to the Construction of Campus Network

The application of network security technology is currently an indispensable part of network technol- ogy,especially the firewall technology,which is an important means to prevent network attack. Based on the introduction of the basic characteristics of the network security technology,related concepts of the firewall technology and the selection criteria,this paper introduces the application of the firewall technology to the campus network. Because of the practicability and reliability of the firewall technology,the problem of campus network safety can be solved effectively,thus ensuring the stable operation of the campus network.
