Expression and Its Clinical Significance of T Lymphocyte Subsets in Peripheral Blood of Patients with Lung Carcinoma

Objective To explore the expression and clinical significance of T lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood of patients with lung carcinoma.Methods Venous blood was obtained from60patients with lung carcinoma and60healthy volunteers.Percentages of T lymphocyte subsets were measured by flow cytometry.Results Compared to the controls,60patients with lung carcinoma had significant differences in the percentages of CD3 +,CD4 +,and CD8 +T cells and the CD4+/ CD8+ratio(P0.001).There was also significant difference in the percentages of T lymphocyte subsets between earlier carcinoma(stage I andⅡ)and advanced carcinoma(stageⅢandⅣ)(P0.001).Conclusions Abnormal T lym-phocyte subsets exist in the peripheral blood of patients with lung carcinoma,and the immunity of patients with advanced lung carcinoma significantly decreases.
