Effect of electrolytic acid water and glutaraldehyde on endoscopic disinfection:a comparative study

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To discuss the effect of electrolytic acidic water on the endoscopic disinfection and application value.METHODS A total of 180 cases detected gastroenterology endoscopy were randomly divided into two groups.The observation group(90 patients) and the control group(90 patients) were treated with acid electrolytic water disinfection and sterilization disinfection glutaraldehyde;Rinse samples was observed after cleaning and disinfection of qualified rate situation.RESULTS The cleaning pass rate of observation group(84.4%) and disinfection pass rate(100.0%) and control group(62.2%,85.6%),the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).CONCLUSION Compared with the glutaraldehyde disinfection electrolysis of acidic water disinfection method,the exact role of endoscopic disinfection and easy to clean and odorless,it is worth of promoting in clinical practice.
