Abstract

The dispute upon anthropocentrism and non-anthropocentrism,two important issues in contemporary ecological philosophy,has become more and more fierce along with the intensity of the ecological crisis today.It is an inevitable issue that modern environmental philosophy has to deal with.Therefore,a thorough understanding to these two concepts and the causes of such a dispute is of great importance for the ecological crisis today.Whether we should discard one of them or keep both of them but discard their demerits is worth thinking for the ecological philosophy today.
