Comparative study of Fluoxetine VS Venlafaxine in treatment of depressive patients who cured by Fluoxetine but had no obvious effect

Abstract

Objective:To observe the efficacy of Venlafaxine in the treatment of depressive patients who cured by Fluoxetine but had no obvious effect.Methods:Sixty patients who had been cured by Fluoxetine by 6-8 weeks but had no obvious effect were randomly divided into Venlafaxine group and Fluoxetine group respectively for 8 weeks.The efficacy was assessed by Hamillon depression rating scale(HAMD).Results: The effective rate of Venlafaxine group was higher than of Fluoxetine group.Conclusions: Venlafaxine has obvious effect in the treatment of depressive patients who cured by Fluoxetine but had no obvious effect.
