Abstract

The key technologies used in the precision agriculture include Geographic Information System(GIS),Remote Sensing(RS),Global Positioning System(GPS)and variable rate technology.Its potential influence to the future development of agriculture in China can not be ignored.It is suggested that the theory and related technology of precision agriculture to be studied carefully,and develop precision agriculture technologies suitable for China,based on the local conditions.
