Discussion on seismic design of masonry structure

Abstract
The main problems existing in present masonry structure seismic design were represented,combined with current standard,the seismic concept design,seismic calculation and seismic measures of masonry structure were discussed.It pointed out that caught hold masonry structure seismic design in seismic protected area was most active,effective and basic measures to lighten earthquake hazard loss.
