Outline of Phytoremediation of Heavy Metal Pollution in Soils

Phytoremediation is a newly-developed remedial technique for soil heavy metal pollution. This paper summarized the sorts and current situation of soil heavy metal pollution in China. Main approaches and possible mechanisms were discussed. In additional,influence factors and measures adopted to enhance the efficiency of phytoremediation were reviewed. Furthermore,we prospected the future development of this technology base on assessment.
