New Viewpoints of Total Knee Replacement

Knee joint is the biggest and the most complicated joint in human body.While the total knee replacement(TKR)would be adopted for severly damaged knee joint.As the knee replacement becomes the most popular surgery,the researches related to TKR are attracting more and more attentions.This article reviews total knee replacement about its indication for the first replacement,prevention of its failure from the view of biology,application of microinvasive surgery and computer-assisted navigation,and reinforcement of intervention in intraoperative period by studying the related data.At the same time,this article also indicates the existing problem in total knee prosthesis replacement at the present and gives somewhat prediction for its developing direction in the future.
