Abstract
Although both long-distance natural gas pipeline and city gas pipeline are important parts of a gas pipeline system,in view of their locations and the different areas they go through, they have very different kinds of risks. In this paper, based on risk management manual, combined with the pipeline index law of the semi-quantitative risk assessment, this paper compare the index system for long-distance natural gas pipelines with the city gas pipelines and analyze the difference between them.It is of some significance for the city gas pipeline risk assessments and provides a basis for city gas pipeline risk assessments.
