The Analysis and Application of Defensive Techniques in Basketball

Through studying of the thought that “it is the balance attack and defense, Attack in defense”, the paper shows that defense consciousness, defense tactics, player’s physical diathesis and defense style are the mostly factors of affecting the level of defense in modern basketball, and gives some suggestion about improving the level of defense in modern basketball.
