Abstract
The peroxide was used to degrade PP.The regular pattern brittle-ductile transition of degrade PP/EPDM blends was investigated. The study showed that the temperature and the content of EPDM have the same effects on the toughness of PP/EPDM blends, increasing the temperature and the content of EPDM all can make the toughness of PP/EPDM blends increased, the brittle transition temperature of degraded PP/EPDM blends will decrease with the EPDM content increased.we also obtain the relationships between degraded PP/EPDM blends and the temperature of brittle-ductile transition,impact-strength,tensile-strength,extension at break proportion and fracture energy.
