Abstract
This paper describes the project design and practice of electric energy metering system in Yulin Power Grid. The system runs formally on Oct., 2004. It bases on a large-scale SCADA platform, with a hierarchical and distributed and cross-OS design, has good open ability, expansible ability, easy maintenance, and high reliability. Its functions includes electric energy acquisition, metering, calculating, statistics, information publishing and interface to power market system etc., and inter-connects with its superior SCADA /DMIS. It can provide valuable decision-making reference for power market.
