Abstract
Field trials were conducted with early and late rice to search for suitable methods for applying a rice-specific controlled-release fertilizer. Results illustrated that rational rate for the controlled-release fertilizer should be 636 kg/hm2 for early rice, which increased yield by 18.7%,15.1% and 9.5%,respectively over treatments of 561 kg/ hm2,711kg/hm2 of the controlled-release fertilizer, and local normal fertilization. For late rice, however, rational rate for the controlled-release fertilizer should be 773 kg/hm2,which increased yield by 14.8%,7.5% and 8.9%,respectively over treatments of 698 kg/hm2,848 kg/hm2 of the controlled-release fertilizer, and local normal fertilization.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
