Abstract
Urban space is composed by a series of massive functional areas, such as commercial and business district, industrial district, etc.Related functions of these functional areas are the main result of spatial concentration, which leads to the spatial variation of the evolution of urban space. The evolution of functional space in the city, agglomeration, and the agglomerative effective resulting from agglomeration plays a key role,so this article analyzes the agglomerative effectiveness of functional space in the city in the mechanism of evolution, and conducts an empirical study of Nanjing.
