Abstract
In order to study grafting methods in Xanthoceras Sorbifolia and to improve survival rate of grafting, effects of grafting time and methods on survival quality of grafting were researched,at different seasons in a year,by bud with xylem grafting in spring,T-shape bud grafting in summer, bud with xylem grafting in autumn, and bark grafting in spring. The results show that bud with xylem grafting is the best grafting method in March or April, the survival rate is 93.6%,seedling height is 170.5 cm,and diameter at ground is 10.8 mm.The relationship between stock diameter and survival rate of grafting show that stock diameter more than 0.4 cm is beneficial to increasing survival rate of grafting.
