Abstract
In this study,nano-hydroxyapatite(n-HA) was prepared by using calcium nitrate and sodium phosphate aqueous solution as the reagents,and the properties were also characterized.The results indicate that the prepared n-HA crystals have a similar composition,size,morphology and crystallinity to those of bone apatite crystals.Therefore,this n-HA crystals can be called bone-like apatite crystals.Additionally,it is also proved that different titration orders have an obvious effect on the morphology,crystallinity and size of the resultant crystals.Moreover,at the same temperature,when the calcium nitrate was dropped into sodium phosphate solution,the obtained n-HA crystals showed relatively regular needle-like shape,high crystallinity and low content of carbonated ions.
