On the Development of Literature Translation Aesthetics in China

Every language has its own unique artistic value and aesthetic function.As for literature translation,the transformation of artistic value and aesthetic function from one language into another is an essential studying object.So far,some scholars have researched literature translation in the view of such aesthetic theories as receptional aesthetics,comparative aesthetics,aesthetics of literature art and the aesthetics of cultural transfer.From these four aspects,this paper analyses the development of Chinese literature translation aesthetics and finally presents the possibility of new research into Chinese literature translation in the light of communication aesthetics and practical aesthetics based on intercommunication and practicality of translation.
