Abstract
Objective: To establish an HPLC-MS/MS method for the determination and pharmacokinetic study of quetiapine in Beagle dogs. Methods: Six beagle dogs were randomized into two groups.A two-way crossover study was adopted.Plasma samples were collected at different time points.Plasma concentration of quetiapine was determined by HPLC-MS/MS and pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated. Results: The results indicated that the tmax and t1/2 of extended-release tablets were longer than those of immediate tablets, and the Cmax of extended-release tablets was lower than that of immediate tablets. Conclusion: The test tablets have marked sustained release characters.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
