Determination of Total Nitrogen in Peat

Abstract

The method to analyze the content of total nitrogen in the peat by the instrument of continuous flow analyzer was reported,and the method has remarkable reliability and repeatability. The standard curve with standard solution was established,the result show that the linear coefficient of the curve is 0.9999 and reliable data is obtained by selecting precise test parameters and convenient sample digestion.Another merit is the velocity 15—20 times than normal method.Experiment of recovery is safe and the coefficient is in keeping with GB.the content of total nitrogen was computed with formula N(mg/kg)=(measured value-blank value)/10000.
