Abstract
Genetic algorithm is a kind of reference for biological principle of natural selection and genetic stochastic search algorithm. In this paper of the basic concepts and the basic elements of the genetic algorithan are analysed. The principle of genetic algorithm and the implementation process are expounded. The genetic algorithm is applied to nonlinear function most value for solving function optimization problems. The results show that the algorithm is one of the most effective way.
