Abstract
Central banks in many countries take measures to improve the transparency of their monetary policies and also consider it as a focus of building up soundness financial systems since 1990s.At the same time,with the further discussion on the theories and practices of monetary policy transparency in academic areas,the transparency problem becomes a hot topic.Especially,transparency of monetary policy improved so much in China recently,though it is on the start stage.Therefore,it is necessary to do some further research on this respect in China.The paper attempts to analyze both the positive effect and negative effect on transparency improvement on the base of well understanding the current problems facing transparency of monetary policy in China.Finally,suggestions are given to further improve the transparency of monetary policy in China.
