Abstract

All kinds of benefits and costs to farmers during the acceleration of the urbanization in Chongqing are analyzed,and comes to a conclusion by making use of Todaro model.Namely,4 aspects that affect the economic decision-making act of farmers' citizenization are the urban employment opportunities and wages,the cost of living cities,the way of resettlement and the transformation of mechanisms of the social security.Then,some measures are proposed to speeding up the process of farmers' citizenization.
