Abstract

An indoor soil column experiment was carried out to investigate the water and salt transporting characteristics of severe saline-alkali soil, which was leached with different salinity of water. The results indicated that the soil infiltration rate of mincro-saline and saline water was obviously higher than that of fresh water. The soil salinity desended significantly after irrigation and the soil desalinization effect by leaching with fresh and mincro-saline water was better. After irrigation, soil pH and the concentrations of CO2-3 and HCO-3 increased in the three treatments soil, while the concentrations of Na+,Cl-,SO2-4,K+,Mg2+ and Ca2+ decreased, soil pH of leached with fresh water increased greatly.Among the three degree mineralization of water, the mincro-saline water has the best comprehensive effect of leaching severe saline-alkali soil. Therefore, replacements of fresh water with mincro-saline water shoud have better leaching effects.
