Research into the Epilogue of Pushuting Epigraphic Inscriptions

Through reading the text of the Epilogue of Pushuting Epigraphy Inscriptions,quoting original text material,and summarizing evidence,this paper points out Zhu Yizun's epigraphy achievements: First,using epigraphy inscriptions to research history;second,using epigraphy inscriptions to interpret characters;third,using epigraphy inscriptions for editing classics;fourth,using epigraphy inscriptions to explore calligraphy.In the meantime,it also analyzes the reasons for Zhu's achievements of epigraphy: Firstly,while initiatively inheriting and developing the tradition of epigraphy,he accepted the impact of learning-style change in the early Qing period;secondly,the excellent academic tradition of western Zhejiang region and the heyday of academic atmosphere;thirdly,he had lifelong seeking of epigraphic inscriptions in order to supplement the history.
