Abstract
The decolorization of simulated dyeing wastewater on peat adsorbent was studied. The influences of various factors on the decolorization were investigated. The experimental results indicate that: Peat has a good decolorization capability at a wide pH range. When the dosage of peat are 80 mg/100 mL and 65 mg/100 mL,the decolorization rate of the reactive yellow K-6G and the reactive blue K-R simulated dyeing wastewater are 84.6% and 86%.The adsorption behaviors of modified attapulgite accord with Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isothermal equations.
