Abstract

【Objective】 To investigate the efficacy of non X-ray guided nasolacrimal duct stent in the treatment of nasolacrimal duct obstruction.【Method】 Implanted the nasolacrimal duct stents into 80 cases(84 eyes) of nasolacrimal duct obstruction patients with the naked eyes after retrograding nasolacrimal duct expansion and then observed the efficacy effect.【Result】 The nasolacrimal duct stents were successfully implanted into 81 eyes, the operation success rate was 96.4% and the effective rate reached 92.6% after three months' postoperative follow-up visit and 87.5% after one year's postoperative follow-up visit.【Conclusion】 Nasolacrimal duct stent implantation is a kind of simple, safe and effective method for treating nasolacrimal duct obstruction, which can also achieve good efficacy under non X-ray guidance.
