Abstract
This paper discussed that the kidney deficiency and blood stasis was the key to the vascular dementia after stroke in etiology and pathogenesis. It explored the relationship of kidney deficiency and blood stasis in vascular dementia. It's not isolated between kidney deficiency and blood stasis. The kidney deficiency patients must be attacked by the blood stasis at the same time. The blood stasis constitutes new pathogenic factors and increases the degree of kidney deficiency. If tonifying kidney qi and invigorating the blood circulation can be applied in treatment,it will relieve patients, delay the process of disease and reduce the pain of the patients effectively.
