The Reproduction Performance of DF_1 and BF_1 Beef Crossbred

The reproductive performance including gestation period,conception rate,implanting position,delivering assistance and dystocia of F1 crossbreds of Gelbvich and Belgium Blue with native cattle in east region of Gansu province were recorded and analyzed.The results indicated that gestation periods and conception rates of 52 F1 crossbreds of Gelbvich and 38 F1 crossbreds of Belgium Blue were 281.9 d,and 282.6 d,82.7%,and 79%,respectively,no significant differences was found(P 0.05),more follicles on the left ovary of cows for different crossing combination developed and fertilized in the experiment,most cows delivering the male calves need assistance,and no dystocia was observed for two crossbreeding combinations.
