Abstract

Three dimensional flow field of a large turn angle turbine stator cascade is simulated by fluent.Upstream moving cylinder row is used to replace the upstream blade. It is found that the different cylinder wake position will gain different stator total pressure loss.At the same time, the secondary flow from pressure side to suction side enhances gradually along flow direction, which sharply increases the total pressure loss.At last,it is found that the decrease of blade height will greatly aggravate the blade secondary flow.
