Abstract

SARS is a disease of body, but in these special days, it also becomes a mental disease in some sense. The medical and hygienic staffs who are fighting SARS now have massive working stress and mental pressure, which is called occupational strain. This review is about the stress origins, stress effects, stress evaluation, measures of prevention and control of occupational stress of the medical and hygienic staffs.
