Abstract
The changcs of nuclear DNA,RNAcontents and ratio of nucleus to cytoplasm of murine spleen cells mediated by Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides(GLP)were studied using acytofluorophotometer and electron microscope. It wasfound that GLP 50-200 mg·L-1 not only increasedthe contents of nuclear DNA and RNA but also re-markably changed the cell ultrastructure and meancross section areas of nucleus and cytoplasm and re-duced the ratio of nucleus to cytoplasm. These resultsindicated that GLP could increase the synthesis of nu-clear acid and protein and promote cell proliferation inmurine splenocvtes.
