About Factors Restraining Farmers' Orderly Political Participation

Abstract
Since adopting the reform and opening up policy,farmers' political participation has greatly promoted the development of democracy in rural areas.But with the development of the participation,there have been a lot of problems in this regard.Farmers' participation is aimed at safeguarding their economic interests;lots of uninstitutionalized political participation are existing.Currently,factors restraining farmers' orderly political participation are mainly: farmers' political quality being lowing,a lack of an improved mechanism and procedure of operation for farmers' participation,and rural areas being backward in economy and culture and a lack of a sound environment for political life.
