Chinese Industry's 60 Years of Change and Revitalization Abstract

The process of real industrialization and modernization in China started in 1949 when our nation was just liberated,namely new China was newly founded.However the road of liberation was uneven and especially thought liberation was always extremely complicated.The tremendous liberation of Chinese social productive forces originated in the great thought liberation,and the truth of thought liberation was tested and approved by economic development.In the past 60 years China made enormous effort at great costs for liberation and until today China still needs new thought liberation. In the past 60 years since new China's foundation,China has been keeping pursuing thought liberation and has been looking for road to change in system,strategy and policy.In the first 30 years China tried to construct an idealistic transformation road of socialist planned economic system,which was characterized by continuing revolution.In the second 30 years China has explored the practical road of socialist market economic system, which is characterized by incremental reform and opening-up.But neither in the first 30 years nor in the second 30 years industry is the foremost frontier of economy in the change. Thought liberation and realization of change are ultimately to realize the dream of making China powerful, strong and rich.In order to break away from poverty,make our nation stand proudly in the world,make China a powerful nation again and Chinese enjoy affluence and welfare of affluent society,we have struggled hard for 60 years.The centre point of our country and nation's rejuvenation is to realize industrialization.Therefore industrialization has been the theme of China's revitalization in the past 60 years. China's industrialization in the past 60 years is making several hundred million Chinese enjoy more and more welfare from industrial civilization,but a majority of 1.3 billion Chinese are still expecting for it.In this sense, industrialization is not only the theme of China's economic and social development,but also the undertaking for people's livelihood.Industrial development's meaning regarding people's livelihood is more important than its meaning regarding great power,which will become one of the remarkable characteristics of the new stage in China's industrialization.
