Managed Currency System:1930′s Discussion on Monetary Reform Scheme of China

Abstract
Chinese scholars of modern times discussed the question of monetary system.They mostly centered on discussion of monetary standard system.In the monetary reform schemes,managed currency system was best to be provided with theoretical meaning,and it had direct influence upon the enforcement of legal money policy of Nanjing Guomin Government.There was a process for managed currency system to be put forward and discussed.First,scholars proposed to supervise silver money in discussing silver monetary standard system.Soon afterwards they requested to control paper money issue in discussing paper monetary standard.And finally,they completely and systematically discussed managed currency system in designing monetary reform scheme for legal money policy.
