Abstract

Discusses the relationship between the thermal performance of a vacuum insulated panel(VIP) and its internal vacuum.The influencing factors on the vacuum are analyzed,and the mechanism of gas permeation/outgassing with relevant impact on internal vacuum are discussed in detail.Some requirements and measures are therefore suggested to take to reduce gas permeation and outgassing from the core materials so as to raise the vacuum degree.
